Volunteer Cook

REF: 67c56c575f788

We are a volunteer run lunch club in Marple serving up a 2 course home cooked meal every Tuesdays. Volunteer cooks work on a rota and cook once every 6 weeks from 9.30am - 1.30pm. You don't need to be an amazing cook, meals are old fashioned fare eg. shepherds pie, fruit crumble and you cook in a team of 4. The role does involve putting up tables etc and you also need to complete some online training but help can be given with this.

Role

The role is for a volunteer cook. You would be working in a team of 4 preparing a two course meal from scratch using fresh ingredients. Only basic cooking skills are required. There will be some lifting as pots are heavy and role includes putting out and away the tables and chairs. Volunteers cook in a rota every 6 week.
