Volunteering with seashell helps to transform the lives of the children and young people we support while working alongside inspiring people, developing new skills, and feeling great while doing it.

Role

We are looking for a volunteer to support and work alongside staff to enable access for our school students to attend spaces in the community, ranging from going to the park, the shops, outdoor education spaces or recreation and leisure provision. You will assist in the development of key skills such as communication and independence. This session occurs every Wednesday from 1.30pm to 3pm, the volunteer opportunity gives you a unique insight into working alongside staff and children with complex learning disabilities as part of their school day, curriculum and as part of their learning journey.
